Delivery & Packaging Policy

1. General Introduction

This policy outlines the packaging standards, order processing schedules, delivery timelines and service areas applicable to all consulting services, glass & accessory supplies, and glass processing & care-related products provided by BCM GLAZING & SHOPFRONTS LTD.

All arrangements apply to customers located in the UK and selected European regions as stated on our website.

2. Packaging Standards

  • Glass panels, seal strips, protective films and tool sets are packed with shock-resistant bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard to prevent damage during transit.
  • Small glass items receive dedicated protective packaging to ensure safe delivery.
  • Processed glass products receive edge protection and secure wrapping prior to dispatch.
  • All physical items are labelled clearly for accurate delivery.

3. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within **1–3 business days** from the date of successful payment confirmation:

  • Glass material and accessory orders: prepared and packed within 2 business days
  • Glass processing services: completed within 3 business days
  • On-site survey and planning bookings: confirmed within 1 business day

4. Physical Delivery Times

Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Mainland UK: **2–4 business days** from dispatch date
  • Selected European regions: **5–7 business days** from dispatch date
  • Delivery timelines may be extended by 1–2 business days during peak periods

5. Electronic Delivery

Digital consulting documents, measurement records, size plans and care guides are delivered electronically:

6. Service Area Limitations

Physical delivery is available across the UK and selected European locations. Remote areas may experience minor delays. On-site measuring services are only available within pre-agreed regional boundaries.

7. Liability & Packaging Responsibility

We take full responsibility for secure packaging of all physical items. Delivery delays caused by external courier services are outside our direct control, but we will assist with enquiries where possible.

Customers are advised to inspect packages on receipt. Any external damage must be noted at the time of delivery.
